Yamagata (山形) is a member of Shotaro Kaneda's biker gang, The Capsules, who serves as Kaneda's right-hand-man. He appears to be the brash brawn of the group.

Anime

Yamagata is killed by Tetsuo Shima at the Harukiya bar after he confronts Tetsuo about his strange behaviour and questions his involvement in the murder of the bartender.

Manga

In volume one, he is killed by Tetsuo after trying to shoot him during the biker battle. Afterwards, in an attempt to seek retribution for his death, Kaneda shoots Tetsuo, only for him to recover from the bullet wound shortly after.
